Specialist legal services provider UK Process Agent has merged with Leeds-based Square Legal, bringing the two together and offering access to an even wider range of legal services support for their clients.
Operating out of Birmingham West Mids, UK Process Agent works on high-value cross-border agreements and transactions with overseas individuals and international businesses, providing specialist UK process agent services where a client is required to appoint an agent for service of process in England and Wales.
Square Legal is based at Kingswood House in Pudsey, Leeds, and provides legal support to individuals, businesses and corporate clients across the UK and internationally, including a number of specialist services.
The merger sees UK Process Agent become part of the wider Square Legal firm, while continuing to operate from its existing Birmingham site under the UK Process Agent name.
The two businesses will now align services across their respective locations, combining UK Process Agent’s specialist expertise with wider legal support available through Square Legal.
A process agent, or an agent for service of process, is appointed to receive legal notices, proceedings and other formal documents on behalf of an overseas party. It is a common requirement in cross-border agreements where the pirates have agreed to English jurisdiction and law.
UK Process Agent offers appointments for overseas parties entering these agreements. Its work includes offering support to parties involved in international financing, lending and other commercial transactions and agreements.
