Tech Nation has unveiled the latest contingent of 25 high-growth scaleups joining its Future Fifty programme.
The companies span sectors including AI, fintech, health, deeptech and energy. Among the latest cohort are digital wellbeing platform Healf, AI training platform Prolific and finance app LemFi.
The 25 companies have raised a combined £1.47bn and employ nearly 4,000 people across the UK and internationally. Nearly a quarter of the cohort is headquartered outside London, with companies based across regions including Oxford, Glasgow and the South West.
Future Fifty is Tech Nation’s late-stage growth programme for technology companies. It is operated by Tech Nation and powered by Founders Forum, and supports founders with international expansion while connecting senior leadership teams with networks of peers and mentors. The programme inducts 25 companies twice a year.
Tech Nation said the programme has supported more than 30% of the UK’s unicorns and 40% of its decacorns, with its alumni collectively raising more than £77bn.
The programme also runs international founder missions to cities including Dubai, Singapore and New York, alongside networking and mentoring opportunities for participating companies.
Carolyn Dawson OBE, CEO of Founders Forum Group, said: “Every year, more exciting companies build in the UK and Future Fifty is here to champion them and support their growth. These 25 founders are building in some of the most important sectors out there.
“We built this programme to back them with the connections, insights and global exposure they need to scale on their own terms – while making sure the UK keeps producing companies that compete on the world stage.”
Emily Turner, CEO of HSBC Innovation Banking, said: “The Future Fifty programme remains a powerful platform for the UK’s standout scaleups, and this cohort reflects the pace and maturity we’re seeing across the innovation ecosystem. In AI, deep tech and life sciences, we’re seeing businesses turn world-class research into real companies that can scale globally.
“The founders of these companies are attracting meaningful investment and creating skilled jobs that anchor value in the UK for the long term. HSBC Innovation Banking is proud to support Future Fifty as a founding programme member, and we’re committed to helping high-growth teams access the capital and expertise they need to build from the UK.”
